After years of use in all weather conditions, the platform undergoes significant deterioration due to continuous exposure to moisture and water. Therefore, during the restoration and sandblasting phase, its replacement may be necessary. For several years, many manufacturers have been creating platforms with various characteristics related to thickness, finish, and length. One must choose a platform that can meet their needs without replacing what is not necessary. They are available in lengths of 70 cm to reach the beginning of the tunnel where water often corrodes the metal sheet, or about 40 cm long to reach the height of the brake pedal.
