Equipped with a self-locking cone capable of stably coupling the crankshaft and pinion.
With this system, the key does not need to be used. Ideal
for modified engines and
for crankshafts damaged at the key location.
The cone is compatible with the entire range of Piaggio crankshafts
and interchangeable. It is recommended to apply strong type locking
on the fixing nut and to respect the tightening torque of 60-70 Nm.
For disassembly, a 3-thread puller is required, not included.

The primary BGM wheels are extremely robust, designed to withstand the enormous power and torque of modern engines. Made from high-alloy steel (SCM415 / 15 CrMo 5) and produced according to the highest standards, they offer exceptional base material strength (up to 1100N/mm2, HRC 58-62), thus ensuring a solid and reliable foundation for the production of BGM primary wheels.
Their production meets the high standards of Honda transmissions, and each piece is accompanied by a test certificate.
Main features include:
- High-quality material: 15 CrMo 5
- Precise production according to Honda standard
- Continuous quality control
- Compatibility with all reducers produced from 1962 onwards (with primary springs 30 mm long)
- Available with 64 or 65 teeth
- Compatible with the original 23Z sprocket
- Can be matched with BGM sprockets for COSA2: 22Z, 23Z, 24Z
- Characteristic design with black finish and tooth number indication.
A particularly interesting model is the primary wheel with 64 teeth, which, combined with BGM sprockets of 22,
